ThunderHarbor provides financial planning tools and calculations for informational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making financial decisions.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using ThunderHarbor (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Service description

ThunderHarbor is a retirement planning and financial modeling tool. It provides projections, scenarios, and analysis based on inputs you provide. All calculations are estimates only.

Calculations are based on inputs you provide and publicly available IRS data, tax tables, and actuarial assumptions. ThunderHarbor makes no warranty that projections are accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific situation. Tax laws change, and projections made today may not reflect future conditions.

We update our tax tables, IRMAA thresholds, and RMD tables regularly. However, you are responsible for verifying that the inputs and assumptions in your plan remain current.

5. US residents only

This Service is intended for use by residents of the United States only. Tax calculations, Medicare projections, and Social Security estimates are based on US federal and state law. Use of the Service outside the United States is at your own risk and may produce inaccurate results.

6. No competing use

You may not use this Service to develop, benchmark, test, train, or support a competing service or product. You may not scrape, extract, or systematically copy calculation outputs, projections, or UI elements for use in any competing product or service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
You are responsible for the accuracy of the financial data you enter
You may export an encrypted backup of your data at any time from Settings
You may request deletion of your account by contacting [email protected]

8. Subscription and billing

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Early-access pricing is locked for as long as the subscription remains active without interruption.

Refunds: we do not offer refunds on subscription payments. If you cancel, your premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.

9. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, attempt to abuse the Service, or use the Service to build a competing product. Terminated accounts are not entitled to a refund.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThunderHarbor and its operators are not liable for any financial loss, tax liability, or other damages arising from use of or reliance on projections or calculations provided by the Service. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email (if you have a registered email address) and by posting a notice in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
